Vampires-A brief history
The vampire mythology or folklore originating in Eastern Europe. Vampires were popularized in the early 18th century vampire superstition began to increase in Western Europe. mass hysteria, even led to dead bodies being staked and people being accused of vampirism.
It was the publication of The Vampyre John Polidori published in 1819 that people really talk about vampires. It's original, the story became sophisticated arguably the most influential vampire work in the early 18th century. Later that century, in 1897, Bram Stoker's Dracula became the basis of the modern vampire fiction days.
Today
Now the genre has become very popular vampire and vampires are everywhere! Books, movies, video games, drawings Animated children and television have been aware of most vampires and fictional beings the world!
The "Twilight" books and movies have become massive in popular culture. It is based on the vampire genre, but the stars beautiful and vigorous than the plots have attracted masses of all ages. It is very fashionable to fantasize about vampires, even the kids are obsessed with vampires as the years passed, they would not have thought to read or watch stories about the vampire myth, because it was considered scary and bloody.
The communication ground via the Internet and social networking sites are less afraid of vampires and cool! Children and adolescents not even want to be vampires who could be seen as a worrying trend.
The media industry has taken on the request of vampire stories and characters based and cashed in the genre.
There are films more and more books, television etc. do every day throughout the genus because it a safe option for success. It is ashame the myth became a £ or $ sign as opposed to the blood sucking evil myth that it was yesterday. Maybe it's the media industry that are the modern day vampires, but instead of blood, money is that they flow out of people.
